Sports law

Legal representation is available to defend oneself before sports justice bodies of all types and levels, both for proceedings under the jurisdiction of CONI, as provided for by its jurisdiction, and for intra-federal proceedings under the jurisdiction of individual entities.
The latter, by way of example, are:
  • FederGolf for golfers;
  • FIGC for footballers;
  • FITP for tennis players;
on an international level we have:
  • the IOC for the Olympics;
  • UEFA for the tournaments it organizes;
  • FIFA for the tournaments it organizes.
The unique feature of sports law is that it is not always the jurisdiction of the sports federations that must be applied. Jurisdiction is determined based on the existence or otherwise of arbitration clauses (so-called "bond of justice"), whether the dispute concerns subjective rights, economic matters, or administrative matters.
Depending on the subject matter, jurisdiction may fall before a civil judge, an administrative judge, or a national or international federation.
